One day we were just sitting around minding our own business when a friend mentioned something about a new clean burning candle made of soy wax. Our curiosity was peaked; we loved burning candles, but we didn't love the soot that was left from burning candles. So, we researched; and to our surprise this clean burning wax showed potential.

Next, we ordered some supplies and started making soy candles. Oops! Little did we know at the time, candle making isn't that easy! So we did more research, put on our little white lab coat, got out the beakers, put on our chemistry hat and went to work. We then tested the candles on our friends and family who suggested we sell them. After a couple years of testing and formulating, we decided to take their suggestion and put these babies on the market. After all, they are a great smelling candle that leaves virtually no soot and is better for the environment than paraffin based candles.

In 2005 we turned our passion of candle-making into a business. Harvest Glow was born! We are a small company, but as we have mentioned earlier, this allows us to concentrate fiercely on creating a perfectly formulated soy candle. Our goal is to create a clean burning, earth-friendly, reasonably priced, quality soy candle. We will continue to operate as a small business so we can strictly maintain our formulas; you won't see any assembly lines in our workshop!
